The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has officially released the names of members for its various sub-committees ahead of the party’s 2025 National Convention, scheduled to hold on November 15–16 in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.
The announcement was made through the party’s official X account on Monday.
The National Convention Organizing Committee, on behalf of the National Executive Committee, stated that the lists are for the purpose of electing new national officers.
The lists, signed by the NCOC Chairman and Adamawa State Governor, Umaru Fintiri, cover over 100 members across committees handling accreditation, security, electoral processes, accommodation, and more.
Governor Ademola Adeleke chairs the Accommodation Committee, with Dr. Ibrahim Dankwambo as deputy and Alhaji Gamboa Gade as secretary. Governor Dauda Lawal leads the Accreditation Committee, with Ashamu Abantekewei as deputy and Umar Bature as secretary.
Governor Douye Diri heads the Contact and Mobilisation Committee, assisted by Senator Abba Moro as deputy and Emmanuel Ekpe as secretary. The Constitutional Amendment Committee is chaired by Governor Udom Emmanuel, with Barr. Mark Jacob as deputy and Adeyemi Ajibade, SAN, as secretary.
The Electoral Sub-Committee is chaired by NCOC Chairman Umaru Fintiri, with Governor Adeleke as deputy and Dr. Okereke Ipeazu as secretary. Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan chairs the Entertainment and Welfare Committee, assisted by Hajiya Hassana Dikro as deputy and Mrs.
Amina Darasimi as secretary. Former Senate President Bukola Saraki leads the Medical Committee, with Jumoke Akinjide as deputy and Dr. Josephine Ugeh as secretary.
Dr. Agbo Emmanuel heads the Monitoring and Evaluation Committee, assisted by Senator Tajudeen Abbas as deputy and Dr. Edward Aje as secretary.
Governor Caleb Muftwang chairs the Protocol Committee, with Senator Olaleke Chewunmi as deputy and Tolbin Godwin as secretary. Governor Bala Mohammed leads the Publicity Committee, assisted by Lady Ime Udom as deputy and Lucky Igbinedion as secretary.
Governor Kefas Agbu chairs the Security Committee, with Senator Austin Akobundu (Rtd) as deputy and Alh. Yerima Hussaini as secretary.
Governor Seyi Makinde leads the Transportation Committee, with Senator Sunday Marshall Katung as deputy and Hon. Dr. Adebayo Adepoju as secretary.
The Venue Committee is headed by Adebayo Lawal, Director-General, Oyo, with Honourable Laurentia Mallam as deputy and Honourable Scholastica Kanebi as secretary.
