C. AI-Assisted Review

Applications may be reviewed with the assistance of an outside AI service. Before anything is sent, we remove your name, email addresses, phone numbers and web links from your CV, cover letter and screening answers. This removal is automated and pattern-based, so it is thorough but not perfect: details written in an unusual form may remain in the text. The service gives advisory scores and summaries only; all interview and hiring decisions are made by human recruitment staff. Our AI provider processes this text on servers that may be outside Nigeria.

D. Storage and Encryption

Applicant CVs and application files are stored using envelope AES-256-GCM encryption in dedicated, private storage buckets with no public web access. Database records are maintained within our secure, access-restricted environment.

E. Data Retention

• Standard applications: Retained for 12 months from the date you apply, after which the application and uploaded files are permanently deleted. Applications still at the interview, background check or offer stage are kept until that process concludes.
• Talent pool: If you explicitly opt in to our talent pool, your application materials are retained for up to 24 months from the date you apply so we can consider you for future relevant opportunities.
• If you are hired: Relevant records are moved to your staff file and kept as required by Nigerian employment law. The recruitment copy is deleted on the normal 12-month schedule.
• Backups: Residual encrypted copies in automated system backups are purged within 30 days.

F. Emails and Interview Invitations

When you apply we send you an acknowledgement, and we may email you replies, status updates and interview invitations, including calendar (.ics) files. A record of these messages is kept with your application and deleted with it, including when you ask us to erase your data.
