The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has officially released the names of candidates who successfully passed the 2025 Zonal General Aptitude Test, inviting them to proceed to the next stage of its recruitment exercise.

This disclosure was made in a statement issued on Wednesday by the Director of Public Relations and Information at NAF Headquarters, Ehimen Ejodame.

According to the statement, shortlisted candidates are to attend the Selection Board Interview for enlistment into the Basic Military Training Course (BMTC) 46/2025. The list of successful applicants has been made available on the Air Force’s official recruitment portal.

The interview exercise is scheduled to take place at the Nigerian Air Force Base in Kaduna, running from April 27 to June 13, 2026.

NAF emphasised that candidates must strictly adhere to their designated batch schedules as published on the portal, warning that failure to report on the assigned dates would automatically result in disqualification from the exercise.

“The Nigerian Air Force hereby notifies the general public that candidates who were successful in the Zonal General Aptitude Test conducted across 15 NAF Bases on December 5, 2025, are invited to attend the Selection Board Interview for Trades and Non-Tradesmen and Women into BMTC 46/2025,” the statement read.

The Air Force further reiterated that the entire recruitment process remains free of charge, cautioning applicants against falling victim to fraudsters or making payments at any stage.

“The Nigerian Air Force wishes to emphasise that the recruitment process is completely free. Candidates are strongly advised not to make any payment in connection with the exercise,” it added.

The aptitude test, which took place in December 2025, attracted over 20,000 applicants nationwide and was conducted across 15 centres, including Sokoto, Minna, Kaduna, Kano, Bauchi, Maiduguri, Yola, Makurdi, Jos, Ilorin, Ipetu-Ijesa, Enugu, Benin, Port Harcourt, and Ikeja.

Ejodame noted that the recruitment exercise is anchored on transparency, merit, and strict compliance with established guidelines, stressing that selecting qualified personnel remains vital to the operational efficiency of the Air Force.

He reaffirmed the service’s commitment to fairness and integrity, adding that only candidates who meet the required standards would be enlisted to strengthen its mandate.
