The Gombe State Congress took a significant step beyond internal leadership by formally endorsing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as its sole presidential candidate for the 2027 election.
The motion, moved by the Chief Whip of the House of Representatives, Hon. Usman Bello Kumo, was met with overwhelming voice affirmation from delegates.
Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya described the endorsement as an act of appreciation for the President’s courageous and purposeful leadership during challenging economic times.
The Governor also highlighted Gombe’s rising political stock, noting that the state recently recorded over 400,000 registered members, ranking 10th nationally.
The newly elected State Chairman, Mr. Mohammed Dantata Ndus, pledged to build on this momentum to ensure a resounding victory for the party across all levels in the next electoral cycle.
