Custodian Investment shareholders approve N2.75 dividend at 31st AGM

Shareholders of Custodian Investment Plc have approved a total dividend payout of N2.75 per 50 kobo ordinary share for the 2025 financial year.
This was among the resolutions passed at the company’s 31st Annual General Meeting (AGM), held virtually on May 8, 2026.
A statement released on Monday, May 11, and signed by Adeyinka Jafojo of Company Secretarial Services, disclosed that shareholders endorsed the audited financial statements for 2025.
This was alongside reports presented by the directors, auditors, independent consultants on board performance evaluation, and the Audit Committee.
The approved dividend brings the total payout for the 2025 financial year to N2.75 per share, after accounting for an interim dividend of 25 kobo already paid.
Jafojo added that the final dividend will be payable to shareholders whose names appeared in the company’s register of members at the close of business on April 13, 2026.
Meanwhile, shareholders also approved the re-election of three directors retiring by rotation: Mrs. Miriam Aide-Odachi, Mr. Olakunle Ade-Ojo, and Mrs. Binta Max-Gbinije.
In further board changes, shareholders approved the appointment of Dr. Tunde Sodade as an Independent Non-Executive Director, while Mr. Folusope Aiyesimoju was confirmed as a Non-Executive Director of the company.
The AGM also authorized the board to determine the remuneration of the company’s external auditors for the financial year ending December 31, 2026, in line with the provisions of the Companies and Allied Matters Act 2020.
Shareholders also elected representatives to the Statutory Audit Committee.
Those elected include Mr. Olaniyi Dada, Chief (Mrs.) Margaret Giwa, and Group Captain Bola Sotubo (Rtd.), while the board representatives on the committee are Dr. Tunde Sodade and Mr. Ravi Sharma.
