The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Bauchi State has directed all aspirants to remove campaign posters and billboards across the Bauchi metropolis ahead of the State’s Investment Summit scheduled for October 8–9, 2025.
The directive was contained in a statement issued on Thursday by the party’s Publicity Secretary, Dayyabu Chiroma.
According to the PDP, the clean-up exercise is aimed at ensuring an orderly and welcoming environment for local and international investors, government officials, and development partners expected at the summit.
The party stressed that the removal of campaign materials would “go a long way in presenting Bauchi in its best image to visitors and potential investors.”
Chiroma said the summit presented a rare opportunity for the state to showcase itself as a prime destination for economic growth and sustainable development.
He commended party members and aspirants for their anticipated cooperation, noting that their support would contribute significantly to the success of the event.
The Bauchi Investment Summit is expected to unlock fresh opportunities across key sectors and reposition the state as a competitive hub for investment and development.
