APC State Chairmen reaffirm commitment to party unity

The 36 state chairmen of the All Progressives Congress (APC) from across Nigeria on Sunday gathered in Lagos for the APC State Chairmen Forum, where they reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening the ruling party ahead of future political engagements.

The forum, hosted by the Chairman of the APC in Lagos State, Hon. Cornelius Oyefolu Ojelabi, took place at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos, and brought together party leaders from all 36 states of the federation.

A major highlight of the gathering was the introduction of each state chairman, who presented themselves before fellow party leaders, underscoring the diversity and nationwide spread of the APC. The introductions also provided an opportunity for the chairmen to interact, exchange ideas and strengthen relationships across state chapters.

The meeting served as a platform to discuss issues affecting the party’s growth, internal cohesion and organisational effectiveness, while promoting closer collaboration among state executives.

Welcoming the delegates, Ojelabi expressed appreciation to his colleagues for honouring the invitation to Lagos and described the forum as an important avenue for fostering unity, sharing experiences and developing strategies to deepen the party’s presence across the country.

The event forms part of activities lined up for the visiting state chairmen during their stay in Lagos, where they are also expected to tour selected landmark projects and infrastructure across the state.

The APC State Chairmen Forum is expected to further strengthen coordination among the party’s state chapters and reinforce the leadership’s commitment to building a more united and effective political organisation.
