Lagos hosts forum of APC State Chairmen, embarks on tour of landmark projects

The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State, Hon. Cornelius Oyefolu Ojelabi played host to other APC state chairmen from across the federation in Lagos as part of efforts to strengthen the ruling party’s internal cohesion and promote the exchange of ideas on party administration.

The gathering brought together party leaders from the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory, providing a platform for discussions on organisational development, effective leadership and strategies for deepening the APC’s presence across the country.

Speaking during the meeting, Ojelabi welcomed the visiting chairmen and reaffirmed Lagos State’s commitment to supporting initiatives that would enhance the growth and unity of the party.

He noted that the forum offered an opportunity for state leaders to share experiences, compare best practices and strengthen collaboration in advancing the APC’s objectives.

The event also featured interactions among party officials on key issues affecting party structures, grassroots mobilisation and preparations for future political engagements.

The visit formed part of a broader programme for the APC state chairmen in Lagos, which included guided tours of some of the state’s landmark infrastructure and development projects. The initiative was designed to expose party leaders to governance initiatives implemented in Lagos and encourage the exchange of ideas that could be replicated in other states.

The meeting underscored the APC leadership’s emphasis on unity, effective party management and collaboration among state chapters as the party continues to consolidate its structures nationwide.

Party officials at the gathering expressed optimism that the engagement would strengthen relationships among state chairmen and contribute to improved coordination in implementing the party’s programmes and policies across the country.
