We have achieved over 90% of our campaign promises — Yusuf

Kano State Governor, Abba Yusuf, has declared that his administration has fulfilled 90 percent of the campaign promises made to the people of the state.

The governor made the disclosure while receiving the Emir of Kano, Muhammad Umaru, who paid him a Sallah homage at the Government House in Kano.

This was contained in a statement issued by the Director-General of Media and Publicity at the Government House, Kano, Sunusi Bature Dawakin-Tofa.

According to Yusuf, his administration has remained focused on delivering the dividends of democracy through people-oriented policies and development projects across critical sectors of the state’s economy.

The governor noted that his government has prioritized initiatives aimed at improving the welfare of residents, strengthening infrastructure, enhancing access to quality education and healthcare, and boosting economic opportunities for citizens.

He reaffirmed his commitment to completing ongoing projects and introducing new programs that would further improve living standards across the state.

Yusuf also appreciated the support and cooperation of traditional institutions, describing them as vital partners in promoting peace, unity, and development.

The Emir of Rano commended the governor for his efforts in transforming the state and urged him to sustain the momentum in order to meet the aspirations of the people.

The visit formed part of the activities marking the Sallah celebrations in the state.
