President Bola Tinubu has expressed sorrow over the passing of Dr Ibrahim Bello, the Sarkin Katsinan and Emir of Gusau, who died in Abuja on Friday at the age of 71.
In a statement by his spokesman, Bayo Onanuga, the President described the late monarch’s death as a national loss, noting his lifelong service, dedication to duty, and commitment to his people. He praised the Emir’s exemplary leadership and contributions beyond his immediate domain.
Tinubu extended condolences to the government and people of Zamfara State, as well as the royal family, praying for strength and comfort in their time of grief.
