The Emir of Gusau, Alhaji Ibrahim Bello, who passed away Friday morning in Abuja at the age of 71, will be buried today after Jumu’at prayers.
The funeral prayer (Salatul Janazah) is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. at the Gusau Central Jumu’ah Mosque.
Chairman of Gusau Local Government Area, Alhaji Abubakar Imam, confirmed the burial arrangements, saying the late emir will be laid to rest at the Gusau Emir’s Palace Mosque.
Alhaji Bello died after a prolonged illness. He was a respected traditional ruler and a prominent figure in Zamfara State.
