The Senate on Tuesday passed the 2026–2028 Medium-Term Expenditure Framework and Fiscal Strategy Paper (MTEF-FSP), approving ₦54.46 trillion as the proposed fiscal framework for the 2026 budget.
President of the Senate Godswill Akpabio also announced that the 2026 budget will be presented to the National Assembly this week
