The Oyo State High Court in Ibadan has reaffirmed its earlier directive allowing the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to go ahead with its 2025 Elective National Convention scheduled for Saturday, 15 November, and Sunday, 16 November 2025, at the Lekan Salami Stadium, Adamasingba.
Delivering the fresh ruling today, Friday, 14 November 2025, Justice Ladiran Akintola considered submissions from all parties, including counsel representing the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
The judge restated the court’s interim order of 3 November, which mandates INEC to attend, monitor and observe the convention as required by law.
