Osun 2026: APC appoints Wole Oke as campaign DG

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State has appointed Hon. Oluwole Oke as the Director General of the campaign for the 2026 Osun gubernatorial election.
Hon. Oluwole Oke is a veteran legislator with a rare record of back-to-back electoral victories in the House of Representatives representing the Obokun/Oriade Federal Constituency. His consistent ability to renew his mandate over several election cycles is widely regarded as a testament to his deep-rooted connection with the electorate and his legislative acumen.
The party made this known at the interfaith prayer session held at its state secretariat in Osogbo on Tuesday.
The event brought together Christian and Islamic clerics alongside party stalwarts to seek divine support for the success of the party’s candidate, Alhaji Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji in the upcoming August 15 polls.
The Party also announced the appointment of Directors-General (DGs) who will lead the campaign organization across the state's three senatorial districts.
Prince Adeleke Banik was named DG for Osun Central, Prince Dotun Babayemi and Prince Thomas Ogungbamigbe will lead the campaigns in Osun West and Osun East, respectively.
