The Ogun State House of Assembly, through its Committee on Finance and Appropriation, has scheduled Monday, May 11, 2026, for the commencement of the first-quarter budget performance appraisal for the state’s Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs).

The exercise is slated to run from May 11 to May 19, 2026, beginning at 10:00 a.m. daily.

In a statement issued by the Clerk and Head of Legislative Service, Mr. Sakiru Adebakin, the Assembly noted that the appraisal is part of the legislature’s constitutional oversight responsibilities.

The review aims to assess the level of compliance by MDAs with the 2026 Appropriation Law.

Adebakin explained that the review will also evaluate the utilization of government resources in implementing policies and projects across the state.

He added that all heads of MDAs are expected to appear before the committee in accordance with the previously communicated schedule.
