The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogun State has ratified the suspension of Senator Gbenga Daniel and Kunle Folarin over alleged anti-party activities.

In a statement signed by the party’s Director of Publicity, Nuberu Olufemi, the State Working Committee said the decision followed recommendations from disciplinary committees set up by the wards of the two members in Sagamu Local Government.

According to the report, Ward IV accused Daniel of misconduct bordering on anti-party activities, while Ward VI levelled similar allegations against Folarin. Both men were invited to defend themselves but allegedly failed to respond, submit written defences, or appear before the panels.

The committees, after hearing from witnesses and reviewing evidence, recommended indefinite suspension for the duo. The State Working Committee, chaired by Yemi Sanusi, deliberated on the findings at its meeting in Abeokuta and ratified the decision.

The party stressed that the move underscores its commitment to discipline, accountability, and adherence to its constitution.
