The National Identity Management Commission (NIMC), South-West Region, has pledged its support to the 44th Olubadan of Ibadan land, Oba Rashidi Ladoja.
In a congratulatory message released in Ibadan on Thursday, Mr. Aniye Olufemi, NIMC’s Head of Inspectorate and Enforcement, commended Oba Ladoja on his ascension to the throne. He described the monarch’s leadership, wealth of experience, and commitment to the people of Ibadan as qualities that make him an exemplary traditional ruler.
“As a former Governor of Oyo State and Senator, Your Majesty has consistently demonstrated wisdom, integrity, and deep commitment to the welfare of your people,” Olufemi stated.
He expressed confidence that Ladoja’s reign would usher in peace, prosperity, and progress for Ibadanland, while also preserving the rich cultural heritage of the Yoruba nation.
Olufemi prayed for the monarch’s long life, good health, and divine wisdom to lead Ibadan successfully in modern times. He also pledged the Commission’s loyalty and readiness to work with the new Olubadan in building a brighter future for Ibadanland.
Similarly, Alhaji Akeem Ogundeji, NIMC’s Head of Customer Care in Oyo State, congratulated Oba Ladoja and prayed for God’s protection over his reign, adding that Ibadan indigenes would flourish under his leadership.
The installation of the 44th Olubadan of Ibadan land is scheduled to take place on Friday at Mapo Hall, Ibadan.
