The Ogun West chapter of the City Boy Movement has praised the Governor of Ogun state, Dapo Abiodun for endorsing Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, also known as YAYI, as the preferred candidate for the 2027 governorship race.
The endorsement, made during a strategic caucus meeting of the All Progressives Congress, is being described by the group as a decisive move that resolves long-standing succession uncertainties in Ogun State.
Coordinator Ayodeji Idowu said, “the governor’s action reflects political maturity and a commitment to continuity, adding that Adeola’s track record in infrastructure and grassroots engagement positions him as a strong successor.”
The group also pledged full mobilisation of its structures to secure victory for the APC in the election, signaling early political alignment ahead of the 2027 race.
