Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, has presented brand-new Land Cruiser SUVs to all former Deputy Governors of the state to support their mobility.
Presenting the keys of the vehicles to the beneficiaries, the Governor said the gesture was in recognition and appreciation of their services to the state.
He noted that given their sacrifices and commitment to the development of Akwa Ibom at different times, they deserved some level of comfort.
Governor Eno, who reaffirmed his commitment to the welfare of Akwa Ibom people across all sectors, prayed for God’s blessings upon the former Deputy Governors, wishing them good health so the state could continue to benefit from their wealth of wisdom.
Among those present at the event were Ambassador Etim Okpoyo, Noble Lady Valerie Ebe, Mr Moses Ekpo, and Obong Nsima Ekere.
While receiving his key, Obong Ekere appreciated the Governor for the gesture and assured him of continuous support for the successful implementation of the ARISE Agenda.
