The Jigawa State Governor, Malam Umar Namadi, has sworn in three newly appointed Special Advisers at the Council Chambers of the Government House, Dutse.

Those sworn in are Alhaji Kabiru Hassan Sugungum as Special Adviser on National Assembly Matters; Ibrahim Ahmad Kwaimawa as Special Adviser on Industrial Relations; and Ado Sani Birnin Kudu as Special Adviser on Civil Service Matters.

Administering the oath of office, Governor Namadi described the occasion as an important step in strengthening his administration and advancing Jigawa State.

“We have entrusted these individuals with responsibilities that are critical to the success of our administration and the development of Jigawa State,” he said.

The governor noted that the appointees were carefully selected based on merit, integrity, experience, and proven capacity to contribute meaningfully to government programs and policies.

“The Special Advisers we have sworn in today are people of integrity, experience, and proven capacity. Each of them has been carefully selected based on merit and their ability to contribute effectively to the implementation of our programs and policies,” he said.

Governor Namadi reminded the appointees that public service is a sacred trust, stressing that the oath they had taken represents a solemn commitment before Allah and the people of Jigawa State.

“While I congratulate you on reaching this milestone, it is also important to remind you of the responsibilities that come with this office. Public service is a trust, and the oath you have taken today is a solemn commitment before Allah and the people of Jigawa State. Leadership is both an honour and a heavy responsibility,” he added.

He urged them to perform their duties with sincerity, dedication, and humility, always placing the interest of the state above all else.

“I urge you to continue giving your best in the service of our state, as you have done over the years. With good intentions and commitment, I am confident that Allah will guide and support you in the discharge of your duties,” the governor said.

Governor Namadi also prayed that Almighty Allah grant the new Special Advisers wisdom, strength, and protection as they carry out their responsibilities, while guiding the entire administration in its collective efforts toward the progress and development of Jigawa State.

Responding on behalf of his colleagues, the Special Adviser on National Assembly Matters, Alhaji Kabiru Hassan Sugungum, expressed profound gratitude to the governor for the confidence reposed in them.

He assured the governor of their absolute loyalty to his administration and the State Executive Council, pledging to contribute effectively to the successful implementation of the administration’s 12-Point Agenda in alignment with the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Alhaji Sugungum said the appointees were motivated by the responsibility bestowed on them and, by the grace of Allah, would work diligently to justify the confidence reposed in them and support the governor’s vision for a greater Jigawa State.
