Fadahunsi donates 500KVA transformer to Ilesa community

The Senator representing Osun East Senatorial District, Francis Fadahunsi, has donated and energised a 500KVA transformer for residents of the Peace Highland Community in Arimoro, Ilesa West Local Government Area of Osun State.
Speaking on behalf of Fadahunsi, the lawmaker’s Head of Media and Public Enlightenment, Omole Olusegun Omo-Osodi, urged residents to protect the transformer and ensure its proper maintenance.
He said the intervention was aimed at improving electricity supply and living conditions in the community as part of efforts to provide infrastructure and deliver other benefits to constituents.
According to him, “On behalf of my principal, Distinguished Senator Francis Adenigba Fadahunsi, OFR, I congratulate the people of the Peace Highland Community for their patience and commitment to good governance.”
“Today, the 500KVA transformer has been energised for your use. Protect it and guard it as your personal property,” he said.
He, however, urged residents to participate in the 2027 elections, saying the community should support candidates of their choice based on their assessment of their records and commitments.
He called on residents to vote on January 16, 2027, for candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC), including President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Senator Fadahunsi, and Hon. Emmanuel Olusanya Omirin.
He said the support would ensure continuity in the delivery of development projects across the constituency.
Meanwhile, the Chairman of the Peace Highland Community, Comrade Olatunde Sunday Fatunbarin, commended Senator Fadahunsi for the intervention, describing the provision and energisation of the transformer as a significant contribution to the community’s development.
Fatunbarin expressed appreciation to the senator for what he described as his continued support for residents of the Peace Highland Community and other communities across the Osun East Senatorial District.
