Dangote Sugar Refinery Plc has announced the resignation of its Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Ravindra Singhvi, effective November 30, 2025

The company disclosed this in a notification signed by the
Secretary, Mrs. Temitope Hassan, to the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX), stating that Singhvi is stepping down after five years on the Board, having been appointed in May 2020.

According to the disclose, during his tenure as CEO, Singhvi led major investment projects, strengthened the company’s management structure, drove digital transformation, and delivered consistent revenue growth. The Board of Directors expressed appreciation for his leadership and contributions to the company’s strategic direction.

In the same notice, the company announced the appointment of Mr. Thabo Mabe as the incoming Group Managing Director/CEO, effective December 1, 2025, subject to shareholder ratification at the next general meeting.

Mabe joined the Dangote Group in 2014 as Managing Director of Dangote Flour Mills Plc, overseeing its turnaround into a highly profitable business before the Group’s divestment from the flour segment. Mabe later led Dangote Rice Limited and, in 2022, became the Managing Director of NASCON Allied Industries Plc.

According to the Dangote Sugar Board, his appointment aligns with the company’s succession plan and commitment to leadership continuity.
