Container collision causes traffic backlog on Maryland–Anthony Axis

A minor collision involving a containerized truck and a jeep occurred on Monday at Maryland inward Anthony, resulting in traffic congestion along the axis.

The incident which led to a backlog of vehicles extending toward Anthony during peak traffic hours disrupting movements.

LASTMA officials were deployed to the scene to control traffic and evacuate the affected vehicles while confirming that operations were ongoing to restore normal flow saying no fatalities were reported.

“Our personnel are on ground managing the scene and ensuring the smooth flow of traffic,” LASTMA said.
