The Lagos State Chapter of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) has donated relief materials valued at ₦42.6 million to survivors of the June 2025 Benue killings, in a bid to alleviate the hardship faced by affected families.

PFN State Chairman, Pastor Yemi Davids, made this known in a statement on Tuesday signed by the chapter’s Publicity Secretary and Director of Digital Media, Apostle Tonye Oliver.

According to Davids, the donation was made possible through a fundraising campaign supported by churches and individuals across Lagos, in partnership with Acts of Mercy and Sesor Empowerment Foundation.

“The support was a collective effort made possible by the generosity of Lagos-based churches and individuals,” he said.

The relief items included mattresses, bedsheets, foodstuffs, groceries, and other essential household supplies. Distribution targeted 1,000 displaced families, particularly those living in Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) camps in and around Yelwata, Benue State.

Pastor Davids called for sustained efforts from both organisations and individuals to support vulnerable populations nationwide, especially those affected by violence and displacement.

He also offered prayers for lasting peace in Benue State and across Nigeria.

The June 2025 attacks in Benue reportedly left dozens dead and thousands displaced, with many families still struggling to rebuild their lives.
