Bello El-Rufai donates medical supplies to Kaduna PHC

Member representing Kaduna North Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Mohammed Bello El-Rufai, has expanded his ongoing Primary Healthcare Support Initiative with the delivery of fresh medical supplies and 2,000 syringes to the Primary Health Centre (PHC) in Rafin Guza, Kawo Ward.

Speaking on Friday, the lawmaker, who is the son of former Kaduna State Governor, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, and currently serves as Chairman of the House Committee on Banking Regulations, explained that the distribution forms part of an ongoing multi-week intervention aimed at boosting basic healthcare delivery across Kaduna North constituency.

Bello El-Rufai noted that the latest outreach follows a previous phase of the initiative where his team delivered medical supplies and 2,000 syringes to the PHC in Unguwan Gwari Ward, a predominantly Christian community, reinforcing his commitment to serving all constituents without religious, ethnic, or political discrimination.

Similar interventions have also been carried out in Unguwar Sarki, Badarawa/Malali, Shaba, and Unguwar Liman wards.

He emphasized that all donated medical consumables across the health centers are provided free of charge to residents, with plans underway to supply all existing PHCs across Kaduna North Federal Constituency.

“Our PHCs are often the first point of care for our people. Supporting them with basic supplies is therefore a modest but important step towards improving healthcare delivery,” the lawmaker stated.

He commended the dedicated staff across the primary healthcare facilities in Kaduna North, alongside his field team, for ensuring the effective distribution of the healthcare intervention items.

The lawmaker also expressed appreciation to indigenous medical equipment manufacturers, Medical Plastics Limited, and his partner, Amir Baba Kusa, for their continued support, promising to sustain partnerships to strengthen primary healthcare across the constituency.
