The All Progressives Congress (APC) has publicly disowned a purported timetable for its nationwide congresses circulating widely across social media platforms.
In a press statement issued on October 26, 2025, the governing party clarified that the document, titled “APC 2025 SCHEDULE OF NATIONWIDE CONGRESSES AND RELATED ACTIVITIES,” is unauthorized and completely fake.
The APC urged the public and its members to disregard the document entirely.
“The attention of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has been drawn to ‘APC 2025 SCHEDULE OF NATIONWIDE CONGRESSES AND RELATED ACTIVITIES’ widely in circulation on social media,” the statement read.
“Our great Party wishes to clarify that the purported Schedule of Activities for Congresses was neither made nor authorized by the Party, and should be disregarded as FAKE NEWS.”
The statement was signed by Felix Morka, CON, the National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress.
The Party did not provide details regarding when an official schedule might be released, but the action serves to halt speculation and confusion among members regarding the timetable for the Party’s 2025 internal elections.
