Adeleke charges South-West Civil Service to lead regional growth

Governor Ademola Adeleke has identified a professional and ethical civil service as the primary engine for the South-West's development goals.

Speaking through Secretary to the State Government Teslim Igbalaye at the 10th Quarterly General Meeting of Retired Heads of Service and Permanent Secretaries (ARHOSPS), the Governor argued that regional potential cannot be realized without disciplined policy implementation and efficient institutions.

The meeting served as a bridge between generations of public servants, with ARHOSPS Chairman Chief A. F. Olatayo noting that the association remains dedicated to the welfare of its members and the continuous growth of the Osun State Civil Service.

Adeleke urged current and retired officials to maintain a people-centered approach, stressing that sustainable development is never accidental but is instead driven by the integrity and innovation of those within the service.
