Stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Zamfara State have endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Dauda Lawal for re-election in the 2027 general elections.

The decision was reached during a stakeholders’ meeting held on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at the Government House in Gusau.

The meeting, which brought together elected officials, party elders, and representatives from all 14 Local Government Areas, served as a strategic platform to harmonize party structures and align with national governance objectives.

In a communiqué issued on Sunday, the party reaffirmed its loyalty to Governor Dauda Lawal’s leadership within the state.

The stakeholders noted that the endorsement of both the President and the Governor stems from their commitment to the Renewed Hope agenda and ongoing efforts to stabilize the state’s security and economy.

The stakeholders emphasized that this unified front is essential for consolidating the gains made in security stabilization and sustainable development.

By backing the re-election of both leaders, the party aims to ensure a continuity of governance that strengthens the delivery of democratic dividends at both the federal and state levels.

Addressing the prevailing challenges in the region, the communiqué highlighted a renewed commitment to supporting security agencies.

The stakeholders resolved to strengthen community collaboration with security institutions and promote intelligence sharing to combat banditry and criminal activities.

The party leadership also called on members to eschew divisive tendencies and work toward absolute cohesion.

With an eye on the next general election, the APC stakeholders pledged to intensify grassroots mobilization across all wards.

The leadership maintained that a united APC remains the most viable vehicle for securing a prosperous future for Zamfara State and Nigeria at large.
