Richarlison has sent a message to his Tottenham teammate, Son Heung-min, after Brazil beat South Korea and sent them packing from the World Cup on Monday.
Richarlison was outstanding in the game, scoring one of the South Americans’ four goals in the 4-1 win over the Asians.
The former Everton forward sent out a heartfelt message to Son after the Brazil striker helped dump the Koreans out of the tournament.
“I know how hard you fought to be here and that’s why you’re a hero to your people @Sonny7!” Richarlison tweeted afterwards.
Richarlison was one of the stars of the Round of sixteen encounter as he kept the Korean defence busy, firing in another goal for Brazil.
The 25-year-old has now scored three goals in the tournament following his brilliant brace in Brazil‘s opening win over Serbia.
