The Kwara State Government has commended the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) for its unwavering commitment and sustained partnership in eradicating malnutrition and promoting child welfare across the state.
This was made known by the State Commissioner for Planning and Economic Development, Dr. Mary Ronke Arinde, during the UNICEF 2025 End-of-Year Review Meeting with the Kwara State Government.
Arinde described UNICEF as a reliable and strategic ally in safeguarding the lives official children, women, and other vulnerable groups in the state. She acknowledged the organisation’s numerous interventions that have yielded visible impact in various sectors.
