The Nigerian Presidency has announced the immediate disengagement of Fegho John Umunubo, who served as the Special Assistant to the President on Digital and Creative Economy, in the Office of the Vice President.
A public notice signed by Abiodun Oladunjoye, the Director of Information & Public Relations for the State House, stated that Umunubo “no longer represents this administration in any capacity.”
The notice, issued on September 08, 2025, further warned stakeholders and the general public that anyone who “interfaces with him in the name of President Tinubu’s administration does so at his or her own risk.”
The announcement urged all constituents of the digital and creative economy to be guided by the new development. The public notice did not provide a reason for the immediate disengagement.
