Lawmaker representing Awe/ Doma/ Keana federal constituency at the National Assembly, Alhaji Abubakar Nalaraba, has distributed 2,400 bags of 25kg rice to the people of Wamba and Akwanga Local Government Areas of Nasarawa State in the spirit of the Ramadan and lent.
Nalaraba made the donation on Saturday in Wamba and Akwanga Local Government Areas.
Nalaraba said that the gesture was to improve on the lives of the Christians and Muslims before, during and after the Ramadan and lenten seasons.
” Today, I am distributing a trailer of rice each to Wamba and Akwanga Local Government Areas.
” We have selected five people in each polling unit across wards to benefit from the gesture,” he said
The lawmaker said that he has all it takes and the capacity to govern the state.
“All I want is a competent person that can bring speedy development to the state not zoning the Governorship,” he added. Nalaraba called on the people of Wamba and Akwanga LGAs to pray and support his Governorship ambition come 2027.
He further urged the people to embrace the ongoing APC e-registration to enable them vote for for APC come 2027.
Also Speaking, Wife of Nalaraba and Majority Leader, Kaduna State House of Assembly, Hajiya Munira Suleiman-Nalaraba said that her husband would bring speedy development to the State, if elected governor in 2027.
She called on the people of Wamba and Wamba LagAs as well as other people to support his governorship ambition.
Also speaking, Mr Jafter Magaji, APC Chieftain, Mrs Theresa Taze, Chairperson, Rindre Cultural and Development Association, Mr AbdulRasheed Musa, Mr Adamu Yamusa, Mrs Wama Ibrahim, and Mr Yakubu Haruna among others appreciated the lawmaker for having the interest of the people at heart.
They assured him of their prayers and support .
Earlier, Mr Mamman Alakayi, Mr Musa Ayas, Director General of Nalaraba Campaign Organisation and Nasarawa North Campaign Coordinator for Nalaraba 2027, said that the gesture would go along way during the Ramadan and Lent.
They said that Nalaraba has done a lot and still doing for the development of his constituency and the state at large.
They further called on the people to support his governorship ambition.
Earlier, Rep Hassan-Nalaraba paid visits to the Oriye Rindre, Alhaji Lawal Musa Nagogo and the Chun Madam, Dr Samson Gamu Yare where he recieved their royal blessings.
He also informed the first class traditional rulers of his Governorship ambition.
The Oriye Rindre and Chun Mada while commending the lawmaker for his purposeful leadership, said that power comes from God.
They prayed and wished him well in his political ambition.
