Princess Animashaun distributes free GCE forms to 200 indigent students

The Executive Chairman of Epe Local Government Council, Hon. Princess Surah Olayemi Animashaun, has distributed 200 free General Certificate of Education (GCE) forms to indigent students in the council area. 

The initiative aims to support and sustain education by empowering youths to succeed.

The forms were presented to the beneficiaries at the council secretariat in Ita-Marun, Epe. Princess Animashaun stated that the gesture is part of her administration's commitment to youth development, enabling students to participate in the upcoming 2025 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for private candidates.

She emphasized that the initiative is intended to ease financial burdens for parents and support students' educational pursuits. The chairman urged the beneficiaries to remain focused, resilient, and optimistic, using her own life as an example of achieving success through determination.

"This gesture is about building the future of Epe. By investing in our youths, we are nurturing greatness and raising champions," she said, advising the students to focus on their academics and strive for excellence.

According to a statement from the council, education is the most powerful tool for transforming lives and communities.

The free GCE forms represent "hope, opportunity, and a pathway to success" for students who are determined to excel despite economic challenges.
