Primate Ayodele alleges assassination plot against Atiku, Obi

The Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has raised alarm over an alleged plot by unnamed elements to assassinate former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and former Anambra State Governor Peter Obi ahead of the 2027 general elections.

In a video shared on X, the cleric cautioned both political figures to significantly heighten their personal security, claiming that hostile forces are actively seeking opportunities to eliminate them.

Although he refrained from identifying those behind the purported conspiracy, Ayodele declared that divine intervention would thwart the scheme.

“Obi and Atiku, be very conscious of your security. They are looking for any means to eliminate Obi and Atiku. But God will never allow it to happen. Watch out and be cautious of your security,” the cleric warned.

In the same message, Primate Ayodele advised President Bola Tinubu to cancel any prospective trips to the United States, alleging that foreign interests are working towards the Nigerian President’s downfall.
