President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is expected to return to the nation’s capital, Abuja, this evening after a brief stay in Lagos.
During his time in Lagos, the President observed the Sallah holidays and participated in the All Progressives Congress (APC) party primaries, where he emerged as the presidential candidate for the 2027 elections.
President Tinubu also engaged in high-level official functions in Lagos, including hosting the newly inaugurated President of Benin Republic, Romuald Wadagni, for a diplomatic meeting, and attending the 70th anniversary celebrations of the Nigerian Navy.
The President is expected to resume state duties at the Presidential Villa upon his arrival in Abuja.
