President Bola Tinubu has extended warm felicitations to renowned industrialist and Chairman of Dangote Group, Alhaji Aliko Dangote (GCON), on his birthday marked on April 10, 2026.
The President commended Dangote’s contributions to Nigeria’s economic growth and Africa’s industrial development, describing him as a leading figure in enterprise and innovation.
In a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, Pres. Tinubu praised Dangote’s entrepreneurial vision, resilience, and commitment to excellence.
“Aliko’s vision, resilience, and innovation have transformed industries and positioned Nigeria as a hub for large-scale petrochemical and cement production through the Dangote Refinery and cement factories across Africa,” the President said.
He noted that Dangote’s investments have played a significant role in job creation, infrastructure development, and strengthening confidence in Nigeria’s economy.
“I salute Aliko for his conglomerate’s role in job creation, infrastructure development, and unwavering belief in the Nigerian economy and its potential. He remains a shining example of African enterprise whose achievements continue to inspire a new generation of entrepreneurs,” Tinubu added.
The President also acknowledged Dangote’s philanthropic interventions through the Dangote Foundation, particularly in the areas of health, education, and poverty alleviation.
“As he marks another year, I pray for his continued good health, wisdom, and greater accomplishments in service to Nigeria, Africa, and humanity,” the President stated.
