Power distribution improves across Lagos DisCos following power generation boost

The Nigerian electricity grid has experienced a positive shift in energy distribution, with aggregate load allocations surging across major electricity distribution companies to reach a combined total of nearly 4,039MW.
Recent grid performance monitoring data on the Nigerian Independent Systems Operator (NISO) portal revealed an upward trend in power distribution to key distribution networks, providing a welcome boost to regional power supply.
Recall that Lagos residents had recently experienced reduced electricity supply following a shortage of power allocation to the State.
A check of the NISO portal revealed an improved supply from 625MW across three days to 975MW as at 11:30am to Ikeja DisCo and Eko DisCo.
Going by this, Abuja DisCo remains the DisCo with the highest allocation at 700MW.
Other distribution networks such as Ibadan DisCo received 550.00 MW, Benin DisCo at 441MW, Enugu DisCo at 426MW, Jos Disco at 145MW, Kaduna Disco at 167MW, Kano Disco at 173MW, PHarcourt Discoat 387MW and Yola Disco at 75MW.
