Oyebamiji felicitates with Muslims on Eid-ul-Fitr, pledges economic revitalization in Osun

The All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate for the 2026 Osun off-cycle election, Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji, has extended his congratulations to the Muslim Ummah on the successful completion of the Ramadan fast, coupled with a pledge to prioritize job creation and youth empowerment.

In a statement personally signed to mark the Eid-ul-Fitr celebrations, Oyebamiji commended worshippers for their spiritual devotion and sacrifices during the holy month.

He emphasized that the virtues of patience, discipline, and compassion cultivated during Ramadan are essential pillars for fostering a progressive society.

Describing the people of Osun as resilient and hardworking, the candidate noted that the state is ripe for responsive leadership and inclusive governance.

He specifically highlighted the need for sustainable development to unlock opportunities for the younger generation.

“These values should not end with the fasting period but should guide our collective actions as we work to build a more prosperous Osun State,” Oyebamiji stated.

Looking ahead to the gubernatorial polls, he characterized the election as a defining moment for the state.

He assured residents that his administration would focus on strengthening the local economy, supporting small businesses, and fostering an environment where young entrepreneurs can thrive.

He concluded by calling for religious tolerance and unity, praying that the lessons of Ramadan bring lasting peace to the state.
