Representative Bamidele Salam, the lawmaker representing the Ede North/Ede South/Egbedore/Ejigbo Federal Constituency, has called on his constituents to initiate an immediate house-to-house campaign for Governor Ademola Adeleke.
Speaking at a stakeholders’ meeting on Friday, the federal lawmaker also urged supporters to intensify sensitization efforts regarding the Accord Party’s manifesto and logo ahead of future polls.
The charge came as leaders and stakeholders of the Accord Party in the Egbedore Local Government Area officially endorsed Salam for a third term in the National Assembly.
During the gathering in Awo, Salam highlighted the unprecedented record of service delivered by the Adeleke administration, asserting that the Governor’s achievements remain visible across every corner of Osun State.
He emphasized that grassroots mobilization is essential to sustaining the current developmental momentum.
In a communiqué issued following the deliberations, party leaders reviewed Salam’s legislative performance, expressing profound satisfaction with his contributions to the federal constituency.
The stakeholders lauded his dedication to human capital development, specifically citing his impact on infrastructural projects, youth empowerment, educational support, and community welfare.
They further noted that his accessibility and consistent engagement with the electorate have set a high standard for representation in the region.
The endorsement was characterized by a unanimous vote of confidence from party executives, councillors, and leaders representing all ten wards of the local government.
The communiqué called on community leaders, women’s associations, and youth groups to remain united in their support, framing Salam’s re-election bid as a necessity for continued progress and effective representation.
As the meeting concluded, the attendees reaffirmed their commitment to a strategic, collective effort to deliver overwhelming votes for both the Governor and Representative Salam, citing a shared vision for the long-term development and empowerment of the Ede/Egbedore/Ejigbo people.
