No rift with Tunji-Ojo – Aiyedatiwa clarifies

Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa has described reports of his alleged estranged relationship with the Minister of Interior, Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo as the product of political imagination.

Speaking during a recent television appearance, the Governor emphasized that his administration and the Minister are working in full alignment to bring the Renewed Hope agenda to the people of Ondo State.

He dismissed recent legal challenges regarding his 2028 eligibility as premature, noting that his current priority is governance, not future campaigns.

Addressing the persistent rumors of friction with the Minister of Interior, Aiyedatiwa clarified that he and Tunji-Ojo share a common goal of state development.

“There is no rift whatsoever. The Minister is a brother and a partner in progress. We are both focused on our primary assignments he is doing a stellar job at the Ministry of Interior, and I am focused on the mandates of the people of Ondo,” the Governor stated.

He further noted that the harmony between the state executive and federal representatives from Ondo is at its peak, ensuring that the state benefits from maximum federal synergy.
