The Nigeria Revenue Service (NRS) has announced an extension of its working hours across the country to support taxpayers during the first phase of the Rev360 rollout.

In a public notice issued in Abuja on Thursday, the Service disclosed that its Emerging, Medium, Large, and Government Business Offices will now operate on Saturdays from May 8 through June 27, 2026.

According to the notice signed by the Executive Chairman of the NRS, Zacch Adedeji, these offices will remain open between 10:00am and 3:00pm during this eight-week period.

This initiative is designed to provide comprehensive support as the implementation of the Rev360 Phase I Tax Administration System begins for the Medium and Emerging taxpayer segments.

The agency explained that the extended Saturday hours aim to assist taxpayers in navigating the new digital system while facilitating seamless compliance during the peak Companies Income Tax filing period in June.

By improving access to services outside of regular weekday hours, the NRS hopes to minimize bottlenecks and provide direct guidance on evolving compliance obligations.

Taxpayers are encouraged to take full advantage of this window to resolve pending tax matters and seek clarification on the new platform.

This move marks a major nationwide engagement effort following the transition from the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) to the Nigeria Revenue Service. The Rev360 platform is viewed as a critical milestone in modernizing Nigeria’s tax ecosystem, moving away from fragmented, manual processes toward a fully integrated and taxpayer-centric digital system.
