The Chairman of Governing Board Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), Chief Akinwumi Ricketts, has tasked Nigerians to be hardworking, committed and accountable while rendering services.

He made the disclosure during an exclusive interview with Nigerian NewsDirect during the inauguration of Fellows at the 2022 Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) Annual General Meeting held in Abuja.

Chief Ricketts who was one of the 79 newly inaugurated fellows of NIPR said, “I am highly delighted because nothing beats the feelings when you are reaching the highest echoes of whatever Organization you’re involved in and what excites me more is when I see my colleagues who are present here too.

“It makes me so happy and feel that I’m in the right kind of place where best practices are assembled.

“My advice to potential fellows and Nigerians is basically to do the right thing wherever you found yourself. Work hard, be accountable, have faith and believe in God who will guide you through.”
