The leadership of the support campaign groups working towards the victory of the presidential candidate of All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, in the forthcoming 2023 general elections, ‘Asiwaju Tinubu-Shettima Coalition for Good Governance’ (ATSCGG), have met in Akure, the Ondo State capital, to strategies on how to win the state for the candidate.

Ambassador Sola Iji, the South-West Director General of ATSCGG, while addressing leaders and members of the over 100 different support groups across the states, said the meeting became necessary to have all groups under an umbrella coalition to ensure the synergy of operation towards the emergence of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the presidential polls.

Iji, who also appreciated all the support groups for working assiduously long before the primaries that produced Bola Ahmed Tinubu as All Progressive Congress (APC) flag bearer, urged them to continue to work independently and in harmony as the essence of the meeting is to harmonize all their efforts towards achieving the overall goal.

According to him, the meeting in Ondo State is the first since his appointment as the Director General for ATSCGG, urging members of all support groups to work to complement party structure rather than compete one with another.

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, and the Ondo State Coordinator of ‘Jagaban Vision Movement,’ Hon. Oluwatayo Adu, who also spoke at the meeting described the coalition as a right step in right direction which according to him would give room for proper coordination of the numerous support groups to be able to achieve the central goal of winning the presidential contest in 2023 for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Adu also cautioned against playing politics with Jagaban’s presidency at such a crucial time when it is the turn of the Yoruba’s to produce the next President of Nigeria.

He, however, urged all Yoruba people to work for the emergence of their own son, Tinubu saying any front that does not support Jagaban’s presidency, is against the development of Yoruba race.
