Dangote Petroleum Refinery & Petrochemicals has announced that its initial public offering (IPO) will officially close on Tuesday, 27 October 2026, with management confirming that no further extension will be granted.
As the final deadline approaches, the company has reported a massive surge in retail and institutional subscriptions.
This strong investor appetite has been driven by the refinery’s robust nine-month financial results, which recorded $22.5 billion in revenue and a net profit of $4.73 billion for the period ending September 30, 2026.
The Refinery noted that the IPO offers a historic opportunity for everyday investors, institutional funds, and the African diaspora to hold a direct stake in the continent’s premier industrial enterprise. With the window rapidly closing, prospective investors are urged to complete their subscriptions immediately through approved stockbrokers and distribution channels before the Tuesday deadline.
