The Director General of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA), Dayo Mobereola, has extended warm Easter greetings to Christians across Nigeria, urging them to view the season as a time for reflection, renewal, and commitment to national development.

In his message, Dr. Mobereola highlighted the spiritual significance of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, describing it as a symbol of sacrifice, hope, and the promise of new beginnings.

NIMASA DG calls on Nigerians to reflect and recommit during Easter

He encouraged Christians to reflect on the core values of their faith, renew their personal and spiritual commitment to God, and sustain hope for the future of Nigeria.

“The Easter season reminds us of the power of sacrifice and the beauty of renewal. It calls us to rediscover our purpose, strengthen our faith, and recommit ourselves to the service of humanity and our nation,” he said.

Dr. Mobereola further urged believers to embody virtues exemplified by Jesus Christ, including love, compassion, discipline, empathy, and sacrifice. He noted that upholding these values fosters patriotism and is critical to national growth and development.

He emphasized that when citizens embrace such ideals, they contribute meaningfully to nation-building, promote unity, and strengthen the social fabric necessary for sustainable progress.

Extending his message to all Nigerians, regardless of religious affiliation, the NIMASA chief called for collective action, mutual respect, and shared responsibility toward building a safer and more prosperous country.

He expressed optimism that the spirit of Easter would inspire renewed purpose, encourage positive actions, and drive collective efforts toward national transformation.
