The Speaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Dr Danladi Jatau, has assured women and other people in his constituency of improved standard of living.
The Speaker gave the assurance on Wednesday when the Jalla Women from Bassa community in Garaku, Kokona Local Government Area paid him a courtesy visit in Garaku.
Jatau, who said that he has provided boreholes, built schools among others assured them of more projects the constituency.
” I will continue to do my best in order to improve on your standard of living.I want to assure you of my continued commitment to empower you and other people of my constituency to be self reliant,” he said.
Jatau urged them to continued to pray for him and Gov. Abdullahi Sule and other leaders in the state to succeed.,” he said
He enjoined the women and other people of his constituency and the state to continue to live in unity , peace and tolerate one another irrespective of their affiliations.
Earlier, Mrs Rebecca Wakili, the Leader of the delegation said that the visit was to appreciate the Speaker for providing the community with borehole and other projects.
She assured the speaker of their continued loyalty and support at all times.
Wakili appealed for more employment of their children, empowerment as well as construction of Garaku/ Bassa road.
