The much-anticipated Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF) “Annual Town Hall Meeting on Security with the Governor,” originally scheduled for 18th December, has been rescheduled to Thursday, 19th December 2024.

This change was announced by the Executive Secretary/CEO of LSSTF, Dr. Abdurrazaq Balogun, due to a scheduling conflict with other critical state engagements.

Balogun expressed regret over the rescheduling but confirmed that the new date would see Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu joining security chiefs and other key stakeholders at the Lagos House in Ikeja at 12 pm. Guests are expected to arrive by 11:30 am for seating.

The LSSTF Chief Executive also confirmed that Governor Sanwo-Olu is expected to distribute over 200 patrol vehicles, security tools, and other equipment to various security agencies to enhance the state’s security services.

Balogun reassured guests that the invitation cards previously sent out to all stakeholders remain valid, and they are to be seated by 11:30 am.

The Town Hall Meeting on Security with the Governor is an annual event where the Lagos State Security Trust Fund gives an account of its stewardship over the past year.
