Lesbian woman cries out for safety

Smith Olayemi Oluwatoyin is a lesbian woman who has been a lesbian since her secondary school days. She made the  confession that she kept the secret within herself because she knows that it’s illegal in our country & also forbidden in our cultural tradition.

“But when I got married to my husband and had children, the desire to be with a woman still lingered in my mind. Then my husband’s cousin came around and I found out she was also a lesbian. We made love to each other in the house but luck ran against us when we were caught by my husband.

“We were beaten and almost died. Likewise my partner (my cousin) ran out of the house in the midnight when my husband promised to get rid and kill me,” she said.
