Lagos 2027: Secure victory for APM, Adeoye tells new LGA excos

The Lagos governorship candidate of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) for 2027, Prince Laja Adeoye, has congratulated the newly-inaugurated Local Government executives of the party in the state.

Adeoye, in a statement on Wednesday, called on the grassroots party managers to work tirelessly towards securing a resounding victory for APM in the 2027 gubernatorial and presidential elections.

Urging them to remain steadfast in upholding democratic values, Adeoye emphasised the party’s strategic resolve to build a formidable grassroots structure.

According to him, the structure must be deliberately engineered to  displace the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state.

Adeoye said: “We are not here to play politics as usual.

“APM is constructing a party machinery from the ward level upwards that will challenge and defeat the APC’s dominance through superior organisation, relentless mobilisation, and genuine connection with the people”.

He said that the party was committed  to delivering  tangible dividends of democracy.

Adeoye urged all executives to focus on party development, support mobilisation, expressing  confidence that the people of the state would embrace APM’s vision.

“We are not merely seeking to govern Lagos State; we have what it takes;the experience, the intellectual capacity, the youthful energy, the technical expertise, and the right people, to transform Lagos into a true world-class megacity.

“That is why we have developed our comprehensive blueprint, Atunto Eko 1.0 – The Reset Lagos Agenda, also known as Re-Engineering Lagos for Inclusive Prosperity.

“We invite Lagosians to hold us accountable to every promise we make,” he said.

Adeoye said that both indigenes and residents of the state deserved more than what the APC-led administration had been offering them.

“APM is committed to delivering real, tangible dividends of democracy, quality roads, efficient transportation, reliable power, quality healthcare, functional education, job creation, and inclusive economic growth that benefits every resident.

“We call on all party stakeholders, leaders, heavyweights, and well-meaning Lagosians and Nigerians to rally around the new executives in their respective local governments and wards to foster collaborative efforts towards victory in 2027,” he said.

Also speaking, Mr Ayodele Kazeem, Lagos APM Publicity Secretary, said that the party had established functional executives at the ward and LGA levels across the state to brighten its chances in 2027 elections.

The party spokesman said: “This comprehensive bottom-to-top structure firmly positions APM as the frontline opposition party in Lagos, ready to take power in 2027.

The Newsmen report  that APM recently elected a new State Executive Committee ,led by Mrs Bunmi Adeyemo (Chairman) Mr Abiodun Abari (Secretary), Mrs Aminat Sanusi (Woman Leader),among other officers.
