Jos killings: Plateau Gov't relaxes curfew in Angwan Rukuba

‎The Plateau State Government has announced the relaxation of the curfew in Angwan Rukuba in Jos North Local Government Area.

The State government in a statement by the Commissioner for Information and Communication, Rt. Hon. Joyce Lohya Ramnap noted that the decision was anchored on the relative calm recorded after the attack.

The State Government further noted that effective from 1st April, 2026, the curfew will be observed from 7am to 3pm.

"Residents are hereby permitted to carry out their lawful activities, within the stipulated hours," the statement read

‎The State government further urged citizens to remain calm, vigilant, and law-abiding as security agencies continue to monitor the situation to ensure sustained peace and order.
